Leave difficult materials such as brass, ceramic, and tungsten to us! We achieve a thickness accuracy of ±5μ, flatness of 10μ, and parallelism of 5μ. We also accommodate mirror finishes.

"Precision Double-Sided Grinding" is a technology that simultaneously grinds a workpiece from both the top and bottom using a disc-shaped grinding wheel. By applying pressure from above and below, it suppresses warping of the workpiece and maintains high precision in flatness and parallelism. It achieves a thickness accuracy of ±5μ, flatness of 10μ, and parallelism of 5μ. The surface roughness can be finished as specified, and it also achieves high-quality finishes such as mirror surfaces. Since it is not a magnetic chuck, it can process non-magnetic materials as well. [Features] ■ Capable of grinding difficult-to-machine materials and non-magnetic materials such as Inconel, Invar, titanium, Kovar, ceramics, and copper. ■ Numerous processing achievements for products with high flatness and parallelism requirements (achieved flatness and parallelism of 5μ). ■ Achieves stringent surface roughness that is difficult with milling (Ra0.1 and mirror finishes). ■ Numerous processing achievements for products with high thickness accuracy requirements (achieved ±3μ). *We are currently offering a PDF document showcasing our processing achievements for automotive and aerospace components.
